Interim Management
When the Chief Executive Officer departs a healthcare organization, the recruitment and selection of their replacement is of singular importance to the Board of Directors. A well executed process maintains strategic direction of the organization and continues to forward its mission, vision and values during the interim period. However, most succession plans do not fully recognize the amount of time required to recruit and select a new CEO.
During the period of time between the departure of a CEO and the start of employment for the new Chief Executive, the day-to-day problems continue to occur and operating decisions need to be made. However, time and energy are at a premium whenever there is a vacancy in this key leadership role. As a result, the decisions that are deferred in the short-term frequently resurface as a more significant problem at a later date.
Fraser Consulting is capable of providing the executive leadership necessary to maintain a stable, effective and productive environment. This allows the Board of Directors to focus their energy on a successful recruitment process that is not hampered by the pressure of day-to-day problems.
